Over six Tuesday evenings we'll pop your hood in the parking lot, check every fluid that matters, change a wiper blade, and test a battery so you know whether it'll hold a charge or leave you stranded up the canyon. Bring your own car if you can. You'll leave able to read the couple of things your car uses to warn you, and confident enough to handle the small stuff yourself. Nothing here is super hard once you see it done once.
