Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Utah Community Learning, a community-education program and website serving Utah County, including Orem, Provo, Lehi, and American Fork. By browsing the site or holding a class account, you agree to these terms and to our Community Guidelines, Privacy notice, and Content, Sources & AI statement.

Who can use the site

Browsing class listings, lesson materials, and discussion boards is open to everyone. Posting requires a class account. You must be 18 or older to hold an account. Accounts are for individuals; do not share login credentials.

Registration and classes

Class registration is handled by the program office. Meeting days and times listed on class pages are set each session and may change; enrolled students are notified of changes through their class account. Space is limited and some classes maintain a waitlist.

Your content and conduct

You are responsible for what you post. By posting, you grant the program a non-exclusive license to display your contribution on the site. We may remove content that is commercial spam, harassment, unsafe instruction, or otherwise contrary to our Community Guidelines, at our discretion.

Content

Discussion boards, notes, shared files, and reviews reflect their authors, not the program. Community content may include simulated participants. See Content & Sources for how our materials are produced and reviewed.

Materials and intellectual property

Lesson materials, handouts, flashcards, and study aids are provided for personal, non-commercial use by participants and visitors. Please do not resell or redistribute them. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Safety and no warranties

Class materials are prepared in good faith by community instructors and are offered without warranty. Always follow manufacturer instructions and common sense, especially for anything involving heat, sharp tools, food safety, or chemicals. You assume responsibility for your own safety when following any instruction.
