Accessibility

Last reviewed July 13, 2026

We want every neighbor to be able to browse classes, read lessons, and follow the discussion. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical target.

What we do

  • Readable text sizes and high-contrast color throughout the site.
  • Keyboard-navigable pages and descriptive links.
  • Printable, plain-text study materials that work with screen readers.
  • Captions or transcripts for class recordings where available.

In-person classes

If you need an accommodation to take a class — seating, materials in large print, or anything else — let the program office know when you register and we will do our best to arrange it.
