The plant-too-close mistake โ€” did anyone else do this

Scott SorensenInstructorMay 13, 6:27 AM

First bed I ever put in, I spaced everything like the plants would stay the size they were at the nursery. Two years later it was a jungle and I had to dig half of it back out. Sooo that was a lesson. Plants grow. Who knew ๐Ÿ‘ Anybody else planted something that ate its neighbors?

So yeah, my raised beds are basically a monument to this mistake lol, redesigned the layout twice because of it ๐Ÿ˜‚ that "know your mature spread" thing from class last week finally clicked for me... like actually clicked, not nodding along pretending i got it lol also the sun exposure thing changes everything and nobody warns you enough about it it imo. my south bed cooks stuff that the north bed cant handle at all ๐Ÿค™ :(๐Ÿ˜‚ Thanks!
