Jar rack question from class today

Ok so we talked gear this morning and I still can't figure out if my current pot setup even works. I dont have a proper canning rack, just a metal steamer basket thing! Does that mess up the water flow or is it fine for now? Don't wanna ruin week 3 over this 😂 anyone know before Tuesday?
