Welcome, and let's talk starters

Julie MinorInstructorMay 7, 10:15 PM

Okay, week one. If you're feeding a starter for the first time this week, don't overthink it. Flour, water, jar, your hands. That's it.

My first one died on day four because I left it on top of the fridge and forgot about it — too warm up there. I thought I'd killed sourdough forever. You didn't. Just start over.

How's yours looking so far?

So Margie im right there with you on the skeptical thing lol 😅 Kristy here, riverwood side, total beginner... signed up because bread from scratch felt like a nice thing to have going, even though most days i can barely feed myself, let alone keep a jar alive too
