finally figured out exposure lock on my phone

Andrew CrowMay 14, 7:28 PM

small win but after monday's class i went home and messed with the exposure lock thing instead of just letting the camera guess. took a shot of amy's tulips and the colors actually look right for once 😎 for sure for sure worth the fumbling around

Andrew, that exposure lock thing was probably the single most useful ten minutes of the whole six weeks for me. I've been doing it with sourdough loaves by the window and finally getting the crust color to look like actual crust instead of gray. For sure for sure.

Andrew, that made my whole week, actual tulip color instead of camera-guess mush. and Daniel, sourdough crust that looks like crust instead of gray is exactly the win I want people walking away with. exposure lock was one of those things I stumbled into fighting quilt photos at my kitchen table, so it's fun to see it land somewhere totally different. six weeks went fast. already missing Monday nights, hoping there's a fall session in the works.

tulips to sourdough crust, love the range lol... exposure lock changed my life fr

Alec, right?? tulips to sourdough is basically the class in miniature, everybody fighting a different bad photo but the same fix works. that's the part I love! Home now finishing a quilt binding, no class to bounce photo problems off Monday nights, and I feel it. kitchen table's quieter without everyone's photo disasters showing up in the chat. Really hoping there's a fall session so this exposure lock energy keeps going somewhere 😂 Thanks!
