messed up my slicer profile last night
Cranked the print speed to save time on a bracket and got warping garbage. Anyone else learn this the hard way this week?
So spent an hour "optimizing" retraction settings at 11pm because obviously that's a great time for decision making... and now everything strings like crazy and i cant get back to the settings that actually worked. did not save a backup profile like an idiot. so mad at myself lol. baby was finally asleep too so this was my whole window :):(

yeah same thing happened to me during filament week, cranked mine to fast and got that same warping lol. speed's a trap tbh, learned to go slow now. still messing with retraction settings too, kinda a rabbit hole once you start

This is basically a rite of passage. Speed feels like the free lunch but it isn't, especially on brackets with any flat surface area, that first layer needs the extra time to actually grab the bed.
Drop your speed back down 15-20% and bump cooling if your printer allows it. Still on the shelf next to my melted-candle boat as proof this happens to everyone.
