Joyce didn't set out to be the budget person. It started early in her marriage, over a bank statement and a legal pad, when the checkbook and reality didn't match and it bothered her until she found the missing money. She's been tracking by hand ever since, and she's usually the one friends call when they're in a hole. She's tried spreadsheets and they never stuck. She rebuilt her whole household budget from scratch when she moved to American Fork in 2025. She teaches warm and direct, tells stories from her own kitchen, and admits what isn't her lane.
