Anyone reuse the same password everywhere? Be honest

Kenneth NielsenInstructorMay 31, 4:38 AM

My brother Kelly reuses one password for everything and will not budge. I showed him a site that checks if your password's been leaked and his was right there in it. He changed exactly one account.

Low key this is the most common habit I run into teaching this class. Raise your hand, digitally, if this is you. No judgment, just want to know who I'm dealing with next week.

no, and i used to be the queen of the same-password-everywhere club until dustins work email got phished last year and it turned into a whole thing... i switched to a password manager after that and havent looked back. took me like an hour to set up and now i dont even know my own passwords which feels weird but also kind of the point lol. if kenneth is guilty i get it but its genuinely not that bad to fix, i was just putting it off saem as everyone else

So proud of you Austin, four is a great start ๐Ÿ™Œ Kelly needs to get Kenneth to hide his phone until he changes all of them lol ๐Ÿ˜… for real though :(

Ha, hiding the phone might actually work, Bailey lol. i was def a reuse-everywhere guy until that leaked password check thing scared me straight last week... not gonna lie it stressed me out. did maybe ten accounts over the weekend, still not done theres just so many. kelly's one account is progress though, dont knock it too hard, gotta start somewhere IMO. baby steps i guess
